Zoho implementation

Zoho Books implementation

Quick answer

NeX implements Zoho Books with an accountant's eye: a chart of accounts built for your reporting, GST and TDS set up correctly, approval rules from your delegation of authority, bank feeds, multi-currency where needed, clean opening balances and a documented month-end close. For many small and mid-sized businesses, Books with Inventory or Expense is all the ERP they need.

Add-ons we often pair with Books

The Zoho Books Launch package starts at ₹75,000 (SGD 1,000) per app and takes about a week per app. We implement single apps such as Zoho Payroll, Zoho Expense or Zoho People on the same basis. These are starting prices. The actual fee depends on scope and is agreed case by case before work starts. See pricing.

Frequently asked questions

Can you migrate our books to Zoho Books from another system?
Yes. Most of our Zoho Books clients move from Tally, and we have run many Tally-to-Zoho migrations. We migrate masters, open invoices and bills, and opening trial balances, then reconcile the result to Tally with you before go-live. We also migrate from QuickBooks, Xero, spreadsheets and other systems. See our guides on Tally vs Zoho Books and migrating from Tally.
Should we move from Tally to Zoho Books?
If people outside the accounts team need to work in the system, approvals happen over email, or you are adding locations and integrations, usually yes. Our Tally vs Zoho Books guide compares the two side by side.
Does Zoho Books handle Indian GST?
Yes. The India edition of Zoho Books supports GST on transactions and GST return preparation, and supports e-invoicing and e-way bills for businesses that must issue them. We configure these to your registrations.
Can Zoho Books work for an Indian subsidiary reporting to a foreign parent?
Yes. We design the chart of accounts to map to the group's reporting, use multi-currency for foreign transactions, and set up reports the parent can consolidate. See our page for Indian subsidiaries and GCCs.
Which is better for us, Zoho Books or Zoho ERP?
It depends on operational complexity. Our Zoho ERP vs Zoho Books guide explains the difference.
