What is Zoho ERP? A plain-English guide for Indian businesses

Quick answer

Zoho ERP is Zoho's AI-native enterprise resource planning suite, launched in India in January 2026. It brings financials, supply chain, manufacturing, billing and commerce, people and payroll, spend management and Indian tax compliance onto one platform, and targets mid-market companies that have outgrown basic accounting software but find large global ERPs too costly.

Why Zoho built an ERP

Until 2026, a growing Zoho customer typically stitched together Zoho Books, Inventory, Payroll and other apps. That works well for small and many mid-sized businesses, but companies with production, multiple warehouses and larger teams needed a deeper, single data model. Zoho ERP is Zoho’s answer, aimed at Indian mid-market companies that would otherwise look at much costlier global ERPs.
