Can Zoho handle manufacturing?
Zoho ERP, launched in India in January 2026, includes manufacturing features such as bills of material, production orders and job cards. Simpler assemblies, where components are combined into a finished item, are handled through composite items in Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory. We recommend one after mapping your production process.
How do we get an accurate cost per unit?
Accurate BOMs, material issues recorded against production orders, scrap and rework captured, overheads allocated on a sensible basis, and landed cost captured on purchases: freight, customs duty, clearing and other logistics bills loaded against the goods receipt, so each material carries its full inward cost before it goes into production. We design each of these and configure the system to capture them.
