The client is a home decor business selling through its own channels and online marketplaces. Before the engagement it kept its accounts in Tally and ran order tracking, inventory, marketplace and channel reconciliations and lead management on spreadsheets.
What changed
- The sales-to-fulfilment handoff was redefined: one agreed set of information for every order, in one format, visible to both teams.
- Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books were integrated, so a won order created the sales order, reserved stock and flowed to invoicing without re-keying.
- Stock movements followed documented rules, which lifted accuracy and removed month-end adjustments.
Result
Orders reach customers in 12 hours instead of 72, stock records can be trusted, and the team spends its time with customers rather than re-entering data.
